Business Terms & Conditions of Sale
The terms and conditions listed below are for business customers. We do not have consumer terms and conditions, as these are determined by specific legislation, the Sale of Goods Act 1979, the Sale and Supply of
Goods Act 1994, and the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.
Terms of Business
1. EU residents pay the VAT inclusive price (VAT at appropriate rate, currently 17.5%).
2. Payment accepted by credit/debit card,(surcharge on credit cards) bank transfer, postal/money order, or
cash.
3. We do not warrant the suitability of goods for a particular purpose, and you should check specifications
and suitability with manufacturers before ordering.
4. Goods not sold on a trial basis.
5. Goods offered subject to being unsold. In the event of non-availability of goods, we reserve the right to
rescind the contract.
6. All goods remain the property of Gold Chip Computer Systems. until paid for in full.
7. Prices and manufacturers specifications subject to change without notice. Minor specification variations
do not entitle the purchaser to rescind the contract.
8. Claims for damage, non-functionality and mis-shipping must be made within seven days of receipt. Any
damage caused by purchaser will void warranty i.e burnt cpu`s, pin breakage on hardrive unit, incorrect
fitting of motherboards if shorted out this also applies to power surges on customers property.
9. After this date, and in all circumstances after 28 days, repair and not replacement will be offered.
10. If a product is found working after testing, a fee of £15.00 + VAT will occur.
11. A restocking fee of up to 20% is charged on returns, which prove to be non-defective.
12. You must use any manufacturer or on-site arrangements provided.
13. All returns must be in stock condition and be authorised by GOLD CHIP COMPUTER SYSTEMS. through
our returns procedure.
14. You are responsible for ensuring safe delivery of any returned item, customer bears all shipping costs.
15. We are not responsible for any consequential loss or expenses, howsoever caused, including incidental
returns costs.
16. If part of these terms is found to be unlawful, it shall not affect the validity of the remainder.
17. If you have purchased a product and you find it does not suit your needs, a full refund will be
given so long as the product has not been opened and it is returned within 7 days.
